During this magical time of year, we dust off our crystal balls, crunch our booking data, and track the latest trends to bring you the best travel destinations on your 2025 wish list (or should be). With bookings soaring through October and November and 200 new trips to exciting new locations, it's clear that 2025 is going to be a big year for travel. In line with our commitment to community travel, many of our Where to Go destinations include new itineraries that take travelers to remote communities that haven't yet had the opportunity to benefit from our travelers.
1.Pakistan
Pakistan is set to become a brand new destination in 2025, having captured the attention of travelers in recent months with its incredible treks, unspoilt landscapes and rich history. Working hand-in-hand with local communities, we have launched three new tours in Pakistan focused on bringing tourism to the ancient Thallay La Trail.
For centuries, this trail served as the only link between the ancient kingdoms of Kapulu and Shigarh, and was historically vital to the trade and survival of these communities. With the introduction of modern roads, the trail was deemed redundant and used by only a handful of hikers each year, resulting in many communities losing sustainable income.
Celebrating the trail’s ancient history, our new itinerary offers travelers the unique opportunity to stay overnight in the original castles and fortresses of Kaplulu and Sigur while hiking over mountain passes, past glaciers, and through A community eager to share its culture and customs.
