If you are a lover of cruises and fine wine, Holland America Line will bring you exciting enjoyment. Starting this October, the cruise line will launch its first branded sparkling wine, which is sure to enhance your onboard experience. Holland America has partnered with Four Feathers Wine Services in Washington's Columbia Valley to create sparkling wine using Methode Traditionnelle technology, the same method used for Champagne.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying the luxury of life at sea, this new sparkling wine will bring a touch of elegance to your voyage.

Differences in traditional methods
The new Holland America Line sparkling wine is more than just sparkling wine. The wine is made using traditional methods, using a process similar to that of French Champagne. This method involves a secondary fermentation in the bottle, giving the wine its characteristic fine bubbles and complex flavours.
“The goal was to create a sparkling wine that would add a sense of luxury to the onboard experience,” said Drew Foulk, senior manager of beverage and catering operations and innovation at Holland America. “Whether our guests are celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying their cruise, our goal is to provide them with something truly extraordinary,” said Falk.
Perfect cooperation with Siyu Winery

To create a sparkling wine worthy of Holland America's name, the cruise line partnered with Four Feathers Wine Services, a well-respected winery in Prosser, Washington. Four Feathers has a reputation for combining world-class winemaking expertise with cutting-edge technology, ensuring every bottle meets the highest standards.
Rebecca De Kleine, general manager and winemaking director at Four Feathers, expressed excitement about the partnership. “This wine showcases the best of the estate fruit we grow in the famed Columbia Valley,” she said. De Kleine stresses that sustainability is at the heart of Four Feathers’ winemaking process, from the vineyard to final bottling.
