The EBC trekking team was all smiles after arriving at Everest Base Camp! En route from Gorakshep, the team traveled through stunning landscapes, remote mountain villages and rugged trails. Base camp is approximately 5,364 meters (17,598 feet) above sea level and offers stunning views of the Khumbu Glacier and the surrounding Himalayas, including peaks such as Nuptse and Lhotse, as well as Mount Everest itself.
The next morning, the team climbed to Kala Patar Peak, where they enjoyed one of the best vantage points for an up-close, unobstructed view of Everest. Later in the day, the team descended into Lobuche, looking forward to a sumptuous meal and hot drinks. Lobuche also offers stunning views, especially at sunrise and sunset. All is well in Nepal!
