2024 GuestRevu GREAT Awards Winners Announced

The European winners of the 2024 GuestRevu GREAT Awards were announced at Tapa Tapa Bar during the WTM London Gala Night.

Tonight, the European, American and Asia Pacific winners of the 2024 GuestRevu GREAT Awards were announced during a lively celebration at Tapa Tapa Bar, coinciding with the lively atmosphere at WTM London. In partnership with our sponsors Hop, HOSPA and Standen University South Africa, the event brings together hoteliers, industry leaders and hospitality innovators from around the world.

The 2024 GuestRevu GREAT Awards recognize hotels that deliver an exceptional guest experience—and prove it through reviews—with more than 700 entries from 55 countries. The awards analyzed more than 75,000 guest reviews, leveraging the free version of GuestRevu's award-winning reputation management product, GuestRevu LITEcollect and examine data from Google (24.5% of the total), TripAdvisor (13.8%) and Booking.com (61.7%). Entrants who met the review threshold scored an impressive 87% on average Shortlisted properties reaching the 90% range – a testament to the extraordinary dedication of these hoteliers.

Dr. Wouter Hensens, Executive Dean of Stenden South Africa, a respected authority in hospitality management and data science, oversees data analytics. His expertise ensures that the award's rigorous standards are maintained, resulting in objective insights that highlight the achievements of this year's recipients.

The evening's program included a special industry panel discussion moderated by Sharon Smith, COO of Hop Software; Chris Alexandre, CEO and Founder of GuestRevu; Dr. Walter Hansens; and Jane Pendlebury, CEO of HOSPA. Together they discussed the awards results and shared practical insights into managing online reputation and enhancing guest experience. Their perspective highlights the important role that reputation plays in today’s hospitality landscape, providing hoteliers with actionable strategies for increasing guest engagement and loyalty.
